How To Using PTFE Dispersion For Coating
PTFE Dispersion 60% DF301/R-100b is a milky liquid with average particle size 0.2~0.3um, PH Value 9-10. The PTFE dispersion can be used for coating and impregnating porous material, such as asbestos, fiberglass, anti-corrosive, abrasion resistant, filature and lubricating materials. The end products after coating has good nonstick character, lubricity and airtightness, it can still have good resistance to chemical corrosion and has better mechanical strength than the blank material even under the high temperature.
1) PTFE for impregnating asbestos
Dry it under 100°C after impregnating , used for weaving round or square moving seal
2) PTFE for impregnating fiberglass
Fiberglass must be clean before impregnating , dry it under 100°C, then bake under 280~290°C then sintering.
3) PTFE for coating porous metal
The porous metal after coating with PTFE is called fluoroplastic metal, can be used for processed into bearing, piston ring, guide sleeve, guide rail and so on. This metal is widely used in Chemical Industry, Machinery, Automotive, Textile Industry and Transport area. All the porous metal must have 30%~40% porosity. Use 60% PTFE dispersion for vacumm impregnation 98.5KPa, dry it for 4 hours under 90~110°C. Then sinter it in the sintering furnace with inert gas under 360~380°C.
